on the Beach
July 2nd, 2011
For those who did not want to take advantage of alternate activities (golf or horseback riding) the bus headed to the Beach Club. Brillant blue ocean, blinding sun, scorching sand, banana boat, lounge chairs and umbrellas with lunch originally scheduled at 1300.
All of my crew was by far more interested in the beach than in the alternate activities. The Mole was the only one who spent any significant time in the sun, the girls by far preferring the loungers and umbrellas.
After a wander around the city in the afternoon and the discovery that everything closed at 1315 in the afternoon. Shops, museums, and the cathedrals that others wanted to see. It was formal dinner time again in the evening…..
